Have you ever listened to the original Morning Show Eminem freestyles? Or his first westwood freestyle? I listened to the rhyme schemes used by Odd Future and thought "wow, the style (lyrically) sounds so similar." They don't sound anything alike obviously, but they rap about a lot of the same stuff. I'm not trying to discredit Odd Future in any way, I think it's great that there are more of these types of rappers.

Goblin leaked... it's amazing. Can't wait for Earl Sweatshirt to come back. All of you who are skeptical about OF being all about drugs and the devil, do some research or listen to Goblin the song (first song on the album). Tyler explains most of the stuff OF raps about. Tyler does not drink or smoke, and as a child he was always told he was satan's son. He incorperates that into his music, he is actually atheist, which means he doesn't believe in anything like that. I think he, along with the rest of OF, are amazingly musically talented. I'm not a huge badass, and I surely don't see them as role models. But music is music, so listen to what you like. GOLF WANG! SWAG!

Double post, I'm sorry. I disagree. Odd Future is compared to Eminem because they both mention the same themes of rape, extreme disturbing violence, and hard drugs. They both have the "I don't give a f*ck" attitude. Those themes aren't very popular in rap, which is why they are similar. I love both, although I am more into OF right now. Tyler and Earl have both mentioned they like Eminem. I do agree that Eminem's new stuff is not very good. But most rappers sell out, (Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa). Two rappers who I loved before BDE and Rolling Papers.
