okay im new to like modding your scoot..

i ride a razor pro wiht bolted foldy and bike grips. and mob grip

and i was looking at wee bars. and buff bars.. and it seems like u need somthing called a compression kit? whats the point of those? i thought it was as easy as sliding the forks through the headtube and puting on bars and clamp?

that is pretty much it
compression is optional and if you want it then you install it into your fork
if not just dont worry

You don't need a compression system for any bars if you have a threaded fork, the only time you'll need a compression system is if you have a threadless fork

but like which is better threaded or non threaded? cuase ive read around and threaded breaks easier? i dont want that.. but what does it do?

threadles is better. threads make the fork tube thinner wnd weeker. but if u want a threadless fork u will need to get a threadless headset and a compression system

you dont absolutely have to get a threadless headset if you get a threadless fork, but it is recommended. i myself am using a stock headset with a threadless fork. all you would need is another bearing race and a compression. bike shops usually have compression rings just lying around and may give you one for free

Yo man just stick to stock for now if your like beginner(dont flame me on grammer)status just ride everything stock except grips and bearing , because no one likes nasty hard grips and slow wheels.

yeahh im gonna lol i just threw some mobb on my deck and edwins and bolted my foldy but idkk in the future i was just wondering.. cuase one day ill get good lmfao

but alright thanks guys
