Old A Brake, Stuck.

How can i get this shit out, so hard. Drilled it a little just to make the head of the pin have a dent so i could put a philips screw driver in there and bang it out. It won't come out i used a sledge hammer and everything. Any ideas?

if you can get in there take a little hacksaw or whatever and just saw the pin and it should pop out i think

just get like this thing called a punch wich is just a peice of metal with a very small round tip and set it on tth boltish thing tht holds the brake...then set the deck up sideways and and start hammering it a bunch of times...(slower harder hit is better)

i made the the spring thingy loose with a vice wrench and then took a philips screw driver

Yeah i drilled a different one out and it fucked it all up. I'm gonna try what Ryan said.

just hacksaw it off so its same width of dropout and drill a hole over it.
worked a charm

i had this problem i just kept smashin it with a puncher and it came out, maybe grease it so the rest of it comes out easier

since i didnt care about the old a that i got my brake from
i just cut the back legs off with a hacksaw
and ripped the brake out
