Old A ripoff

I dont think it would be an old a as i owned one and the wheels that come stock dont look like the ones that came on the old a, plus the old a has a different folding mech

thats a new a

You probably just saw the black folding mech and concluded. The deck has welded back dropouts, also the folding plates are welded to the deck and just covered with something black. If that resembles some original razor it's an old A.

Edit: Now I see there's a pic of a new A at the bottom, the top ones are very different though.

That's an AW with the original A deck shape. Either way, you have a crap folding system, and it would not be worth it. But if you like AW's, I'd suggest making a B folding system switch. Basically cut the welds on a B/Pro Model deck, unbolt the rails, and snap the welds so the rails come off. Grind down the welds off the rails, drill the AW deck and bolt it on. Be sure you're good with a drill and know what you're doing...

In this picture, it really looks like it has an old A foldy on it:

Doesn't look terrible... interesting fork and wheels.
The wheels PU is still terrible. And that gussett, is actually just a plastic cap, not metal.

It looks it, but it's actually just plastic covers for the rails. I think they did that to save from kids closing the scooter on their fingers. Same concept with the covers on B/Pro Model folding system rails. Liability is a bitch when it comes to idiot kids who's parents want to sue Razor for their kids inexperience, haha.
