old slit bars with scs

i have old rad og bars with slit which i used to ride when i was rolling threaded. i like the bars but now im on threadless with my nitro. could i use my scs with my old bars
that have a slit and make it wort perfectly? i have the shim for scs too. please help <3

If you cut the bars off at the top of the slit then yes it will work with scs.

okay, more nooby stuff but if i want to use my scs with my nitro forks, could i just use the compression cap and bolt from my stock nitro( was used for hic) but just not use shim then use it all together like that?
