Older skaters/ scooters?

Hey all. This is my first post. I am 31 years old and have been skateboarding for 4 years when I was like 15. Getting back into riding and skateing here recently. My son Skateboards, but he had his old Razor out the other day and I gave it a try. It was pretty kick a$$. I use to race downhill mountain bike a few years ago and jumps came pretty easy to me until I broke his scoot. Needless to say I weigh 210lbs and that was the reason. Well I went and bought me a Razor Pro and I am in the process of customizing it based on this websites suggestions.

Since I am here I was wondering what is the concensus of everyones first thoughts when they see an older skater/ scooter like me at a skatepark busting his a$$ like everyone else? The reason I am asking is are you ever to old to hang it up? Probably most of you are still in your teens so ponder this question as one day yourself will be my age. if Tony hawk, Danny Way and Mike Mcgill can do it. Hey why not right?

Yeah my son thought scooters were stupid as hell, but when I pulled a tail grab on him off our old ramp he flipped his lid. Oh yeah when I crushed his A Model (Which was old, crappy, you name it) by doing a tail whip off a 5 foot drop from our concrete wall, he laughed his (I) off. It was his christmas present 3 years ago, but he never really like it. He is a shateboarder through and through and is pretty darn good I am hard on him though. I am always pushing him. I hope one day it's not to the point where he gets hurt. I would pretty much hate myself...

im used toseeing old dudes rip the park haha. at our park there is a guy that has two sons and they both bike but he come in a kills it, hes beter than his kids, he does the spine and airs and does things you wouldn't think a 45 year olddude would be doin. amd there a bunch of old guys ons katebaords cruzin around. haha, so i say stick with it

wow just think about this...

you are just chillen around your house on you scooter, the your dad comes out of the house and starts shredding with you. That would be soo much fun. I got my dad to go off a jump once.. :p

shiiit you're 20? thought you were like 18 at least. most of the og's like you that stuck with it are like 20+ now i guess. I wonder what will happen to you all in terms of riding in like a few years or more
