Omni Wheels

Hey guys. Just wondering how dumb it would be to put an omni wheel on a scooter.

An omni wheel is a wheel that has rollers along it. The rollers allow the wheel to slide sideways in addition to rolling the way normal wheels do.

Anyone think putting them on a scooter would be cool? Kinda like this guy.

They're about $40 without their bearings (designed for robots not scooters lol). I might get one and try it out.
