rob forman bars were for sale
$82 to get over to usa including postage
there currently out
but i am working on a new bar design

+ same triangle gussets, but lighter, the old ones had too thick walls = overkill.
+ solid crossbar, sounds heavy but its alu, the whole bars are still 900grams(20x19), upto 300-500grams lighter than old wee steel bars
+ mad strong, solid crossbar is real hard to bend.
+ same steertube material and thickness of buffs steertubes, wich have prooved strong
+ comes with free double clamp, ask Stephen Esposito how he likes his, if you wanna know about them
+ proffesionaly welded
+ won't rust, wich means no scratched paint or ugly brown patches.

+/- no barends needed, depends if you consider that good or not, i personnaly love not needing barends.

- postal disadvantage to people outside of uk, still cheaper than wee's, french ID(and I rekon stronger), and buffs
- not for sale again til febuary.

People should stop posting in this thread like buy these bars! they are win!

It was more for the sake of figuring out what bars were cheapest, strongest, and what the bars were made of.

Top of my list as far as bars already produced.

RADs

lightweight, good lifespan and can take quite a beating. Good quality.

Scooterzone one peices.

They arent incredibly appealing, the welds could be better (finished).
But they are pretty damn strong, have a decent weight and are fairly well priced.

Still.. there is much room for improvement in bars and other parts, no-one has made a truly amazing product as of yet.

Most are flawed in some way, be it the wrong material used, weight issues, bad craftsmanship/welds, failure to heat treat for stresses or to strengthen the metal, too much complexity, or not enough.. but we will get there some day.

All i can say is French id, Scooterzone, and Inward scooters show alot of promise.

DXG is going to get in the mix somewhere, there will not be a large scale production of parts, but it will have the most carefully researched and designed products out there.
Quality over quantity.
