Online Gameplay for PS2

Okay so I have a network adapter PS2 and I used a phone cord to try to connect for internet gameplay and it didnt work. So maybe i did something wrong? any help would be appreciated.

What internet connection does your computer run on? What ISP do you havce? Did you use the network setup disk to set up the adapter? Check out the manual that came with it.

I have DSL, no idea about the ISP, and yeah i used the set up disk for the adapter

You cant juse use either... you have to use the one your internet connection is. You have DSL so you put a phoneline into your modem and connect to that through ethernet with your computer. Do you know if you have a router in your house, if not you should probably pick one up. Its basicly a spliter for ethernet cords so you can get online with DSL/Cable and stuff with more than one computer at the same time. Get one of those, hook it up and set it up on your computer than connect the ps2 to it and use the setup disk again and see if that works
