I got myself banned.
thats because macs are proffesional
Maybe you should educate yourself a little more about computer before you go saying "macs are professional". A computer can not be 'professional'.

Your going to be satisfied with either operating system. I would reccomend using a Windows 7 system because you can build a better operating computer for cheaper that will run solid. You will also be able to use it for more functions because there is ENDLESS software for PCs compared to Macs. Not to mention any game runs on Windows, Macs need a special build of a game.

If your going to get a Mac your paying a shit load more for the name. Windows vs OSX debates are useless now. Both of the operating systems are dialed. They both run Photoshop, so its up to you.

It's easy to say one way or another.. Years ago, I could spring up and give you mac a a definitive answer due to their fantastic color management and for the fact that Adobe wrote their programs for the mac os and duped em over to windows later on. But now both os are very compatible with what you are trying to do.

As a mac user, it's very hard for me to say this, but, I'd have to say the choice is yours. And because macs are so expensive now because they are all the rage... I'd go with the least expensive one.
