opteka ultra fisheye/ death lens focus problem, please help... video included

watch what happens, what am i doing wrong. i use the jvc everio camera and have it on auto focus

thats normal.
the subject moves closer, so the camera adjusts its field of depth to focus in.

basically, its moving closer to the camera, so the camera has to like "zoom out" to make sure its focused.

Manuel focus!!!!, never ever use auto settings ever!

if you use a fisheye with auto focus it will rest the focus everytime something moves, but if you set it using manual focus it wont chang and the footage will stay sharp and clear

If you have a fisheye on the camera your supposed to set it to manual focus and set the focus to infinity ∞, or however far you can make the focus go.

I had the same problem, you should use a spacer!
