Every trick is a variation of a bunny hop, which is a variation of riding flat, which is a variation of walking. Tricks are a myth.

Come on Dustin you can't seriously say that Bartwists are a variation of a barspin?

I like this thread. I cant stand how people ride these days and as im getting more into riding again, it gets more ridiculous. I live in vermont and ive been riding the same park for longer than most of you have been riding and still manage to think of different lines and tricks to do where and on what. its not only about the tricks your doing but how your doing them, people dont realize that.

Bottom line, who cares.
Nobody should be telling anybody how to ride.
Just ride how YOU like. If that involves having no style, doing a shitload of briflips, and following every riding trend there is, then so be it.
Just have fun, and do whatever tricks you could ever want.

first thing that came to my mind when i saw this thread were no handed boardslides... creativity is almost non-existent on sr
I'm the only one who does those on lock haha

a bartwist is a variation of a bar spin. a busdriver is almost the same as a bartwist but you dont twist your wrist when doing it

Yeah I'd almost rather that no one else ride creatively so that I'd have more options to be creative.
