OS Riders

Who remembers like razor evolution and all the old stuff like it. When There were barely any one who rode and when old A's cost like $140. Those days were legit. In my veiw it was so much more chill back then.

I wasn't around quite that long ago, plus when I actually started coming on here I didn't know what I was looking at most of the time haha. I got here about the time Terry realeased the epic Mini Video 1. Even though that wasn't TOO long ago, well it was four years... I do remember a lot less drama and ignorance. Oh well.

Nooner your avatar is briwhipping the wrong way; he should be going the other way! You're not goofy footed ;)

I remember the good days where we were still thinking of new shit. Now theres so many copying fucking companys that steal fucking designs. I stick to proto and rad because they are og's. Before I quit for two years those companies were around and making the best shit that revolutionized the sport. Not fucking blunt scooters or apex or genisis shit that steals designs

Dude I still have two jd razor from 2000. I had to replace one of the forks with an ultra pro because the shocks broke. I still use them for hillbombing.

Look at biking companies. Handlebars, all are the same. Frames, all are (basically) the same. Stems, the same. Forks, the same. Different offsets like scooters. If someone makes ANYTHING that is good and sells well, people are going to copy. Look at ipods. Tons of companies make knockoff ipods that look the same. Quit complaining. You're lucky we have these companies, none of them were around two or three years ago.

agreed. it adds for more options to choose from and really shows that our sport is growing. so if someone copys an idea or an actual hard copy of the part that was designed, then they know that they did something right!

I'm just saying why do they have to copy the same shit on proto. If the proto scs had a patent on it then they coud sue apex an them. the same thing as Rad with the crowbars.

who cares? if you really want to get down to it the kid that made the first 1 piece bars in his garage couldve put a patent on them and he could sue every scooter company in the the scooter world...so please...stop the drama and SHUT THE FUCK UP.

IF, but they don't. so anybody can copy them. Andrew wanted SCS to become the standard of scootering, if he patented it then that would be impossible because then no other companies would be able to make SCSs. The TDI won't be patented because Andrew wants other companies to make decks/headtubes, too. So they can be interchangeable. All the companies that make T bars and Crows copy rad, right? Wrong. Be happy you have options, if only rad made crows they'd be hard to obtain. Nobody said you have to support the other companies, but don't bash them, either. There's no need for it. Support companies you look, don't support the ones you don't. It's that simple.

the SCS is patent pending.... so is the TDI probably. He just doesnt want companies to come out with an SCS and claiming that it was their concept.

I'm 99% sure it's not any more. It was pending.. Pat. Pending was on SCSs. It's not any more. He already said the TDI won't be patented because he wants other companies to adopt it for their decks and have it become the standard for scooter decks.
