Are oversized star nuts 1.5in?

no it is 1 1/4 in. I think because i just measured mine.

Yeah but there made for oversied (1.5") MTB forks so you could probbably get one in from your local bike shop.

you can choose so it comes with either 1 1/4 (for one pieces/buffs) or 1 1/8 (for stock)
