Yeah, I use this stuff at work (I'm a dishwasher) to clean the grill stuff. I could easily slip my SCS in there too. How long would it take, about 10 minutes?

When i did it in a bag, i had to like rub the parts to get it off, I didn't fill the bag though, just sprayed a bunch in, rubbed it on the clamp for like 3-4 minutes and it all came off. It was only a double clamp though, might take longer on the scs.

I left mine in like half an hour, it looks horrible though straght out you have to sand it afterwards.
I would recommend work your way up to about 1000 grit with sandpaper and then use aluminium polish and a rag and you can get it to a mirror finish with alot of elbow grease and patience

I know you said not to say it... but just sand it with an electric sander and polish. such a cleaner finish.
