Today was the last day when scooters could ride on skateboard/inline days in our closest indoor park (which is the only indoor park in the city unfortunately). They relised that it's unfair that scooter riders could go both on bmx days and skateboard/inline days. From now on, scooters are mixed with bmx days which are monday and wednesday.
In my opinion, i'm glad that they mixed us with BMXs, not with skateboards/inline skates, because:
Goods:
1) skateboard/inline days are often pretty crouded and skateboards fly away a lot in every direction;
2) like 95% of the BMX riders are my friends, i know only a few guys on skate days.
3) skateboarders often use the flybox for diffirent reasons. They use the landing area for as a ditch where to perform their tricks to fakies, and the kicker is often used as a miniramp with the big quarterpipe where i get speed. The top of the flybox is often being used as a standing area, where like 10 kids wait for their turn. No problems with BMXes, they aren't in the way.
4) There is A LOT less people riding on BMX days. (usually like from 8 to 15 people; skatedays have 30-40 people, and it's a lot for a small park).
And here's the bad:
i could ride on friday nights and on saturdays (on sundays it's closed), so basicly i rode every weekend. In the past 4-5 weeks, i've only managed to go on bike days only 2-3 times. I may not find any good time to ride on business days.
Shit happens?
edit: i felt like posting it, but i'll post pictures some day too, after all it's a pretty good park.
