Painting a deck and which clamp?

ok so i was wondering if its worth painting my deck? cuz i dont want paint flying all over when i grind hahaha...o and wut would be a really good clamp to get, my razor double clamp gets loose every 20 minutes, i got so pissed i bolted it all the way through >___< (i ride inward one pieces if that would help)

paint it if you want. and get a half knuckle or a district clamp

Districts strip faster then stocks. Get a half knuckle. Go ahead and paint it, i paint mine, paint doesn't go anywhere if you paint it right.

then how'd you paint it? districts are oversized so those are out of the question

Sand it, Prime it, spray paint with good spray paint from home depot. Allow to hang dry overnight.

haHa thats how i paint all my stuff i just thought there was something else u needed to do 4 a deck...thx anyway

This might seem strange at first but it looks really cool. Remove the grip tape and use a hand sander and sand down the entire deck, all the grooves and everything! Gives you an amazing shine and then you can use deck pins for grip. Just clear over it and ots cool

no, i think he means the top of the deck. Do you have any pictures of the deck sanded down? i wanna see what i looks like.

with regard to clamps... you should get the scooter zone clamp. it is about $25-$30 and comes with a shim for smaller bars... if it still doesnt fit put some electric tape on the bottom of your bars. The SZ clamps look cool anyway
