just got a tsi and senior fork.. does anyone know how to pain it properly without chipping and looking shitty? (making it all flat black)

Or.. to save money just spray enamel can work well:
Clean the fork up real nice with sandpaper/wire brush so there's no shit on it. Mask off the bits you dont want painted. Hang the fork from string or wire so you can get all round it. Spray some decent quality etch primer(if raw) in many light coats(I usually do about 5-6) leaving about 10 minutes to dry between coats(depending on what your paint can says). Then, once all areas are covered nicely and evenly leave it to dry properly as the can specifies. Repeat what you did with the primer with the colour you want your fork to be(I usually use Engine Enamel). Leave it till its dry, then do the same for a 3rd time with a clear coat, let it dry(generally works best if overnight) and you're away laughing!
This will not last as long as powdercoating but you should be able to drop it on the same spot many times before it starts to chip. For best results take your time and let the coats dry!
