howa bout a primer?

take it all apart if you want a nice clean job..and everyone uses the cheapest stuff they find cause no1 wants to spend a great deal for the scooter..

primer would be a good idea, but u dont need it. just use a couple thin coats. and u dont need to take everything apart if u have masking tape...

i used primer once..it didnt to much at all..clear coat isnt bad though

i just got finished painting my scoot. it has lot o red, white fork, blue t tube + blue wheels and blue grips. go america. don't paint in the rain, don't get paint on your property or your parents will kill you. the one time i use primer, the paint just chipped off so personally i don't use it but whatever floats your boat.

if primer makes it chip then you either had shitty primer or didnt put in on right. cause primer makes it chip off less. and clearcoat is good cause it is like a protective layer to keep the paint on.

i think spray paint is best and thats all i know.spray paint gives u a even coat .
