Panny DVX100b VS. Sony V1U

My uncle and me are getting a camera to record weddings and shit. he will also let me use it to film at openground. We are deciding between a DVX100B or a Sony V1U. Someone like Brian Please help us.

panasonic is coming out with an hd version of the dvx. forget the model name, but you should definitely look into that.

im pretty sure we're getting the V1U because of hd and the price. the avchd is probably going to be too expensive. also we aren't buying this for at least a month. maybe by then prices will go down.

Im pretty sure its not going to be much more than a DVX, since its an upgrade of it. HVX is a step up and thats like $2000 more, i don't think you be looking at more than a $500 more than a DVX
