My dad used to be mad old school skater, handplants and old school shit like ses slides and stuff.
And he used to work at a bike store, and he's had a shit load of other jobs and he's a tradie so i get to use his tools and he knows a shitload so he helps alot.
My parents are intrested, but when i come home and im like, i just landed this, they dont know what it is, even when i explain they dont really care, but when they see me do it, there much more impressed/intrested.
I have to explain alot of stuff to them, but they get it eventually.
Ive been riding for nearly 3 years, so there used to it.

my dad watches the x-games and stuff, he'll watch some scooter videos if i show him. he usually jumps on my scooter if put on a new part or something. haha
he's way legit. plus he doesn't give a SHIT!

my mum buys me sister every thing. i counted my sistrers shoes she has 9 pairs i have 1 and there are destroyed and my sisters are brand new she bought here new 130$ shoes today and heaps of shit. im hell pist FUCK

my mum and dad are split up (i can see why) and i am so close to moving to my dads full time. My mum was good til my step dad came!!!!!m am even more pised!!!!

my dad watches me scoot alot and he thinks its pretty cool. my mom isnt as interested tho, and flipped shit when i spent 150 on bars and a fork. im gettin a slider soon, so idk what shell think about a 30 dolla wheel

my parents are gay and old. They think scootering is stupid and they put no money or drive me anywhere. My dad calls my scooter a skateboard and he if he stays for a few minutes at the skatepark watching me, he calls every trick a tailflippy thing.

Does anyone else's parents like ask you how u did at the skatepark wen u get home? Mine do and I just make up tricks now. "Oh did you learn any new tricks?" "Oh yeah I got an oppo invert flip and a shamrock shake" "Oh those sound tough" "Yeah they are, especially since they aren't real." "What?" "oh nothing."

I didn't know people still posted in this thread. So my dad went crazy when he found out I bought bars, a fork, and a deck. It was all like $250 but I just said it was all $100 so he doesn't yell and get a heart attack.
