Ive been trying to think of shit to replace my fucked up fork. Thought of this but yeah.
I don't think this will actually work, but idk might be worth a go, so im askin yu dders if its even worth a shot.

My main worry is that the bolt/star nut will break/Wont tighten enuf to keep the bars solid. and another problem is how i will even get the nut into the shim thing on the 1pc bars. but idk ill think of something. or that the fork wont stay on... tten again i could just get a thick mother fuckinnn bolt.

I drew these in like 30 sec casue i cbf to bust out Microstation/Sketch upp.

if yr wondering what something is then you can ref. to the numbers haha.

i spose with a really tight fit it could work if your trying to say you want to get this tube into your fork or steertube to tighten your starnut onto??

tube?

i have no idea what your saying haha.

but what im trying to do really is eliminate the need for a tube on the fork. s

ed: just realsied that you would need to tighten this a lot, and that would in turn tighten your headset.. a lot

#1: is a startnut thing. i suppose you couud just use a beast as washer though
#2: The 1pc bars get thicker there so the washer/starnut has something to grab onto

Woah, tubeless fork? Im trying to be innovative when making parts but that's just pushing it, haha. This won't hold up for even a second.

lol, thought so. What about a really fatass bolt thats like the size of the headtube?

idk im just trying to think of a way I can still break forks but replace them a lot easyer.. im getting desprate lol

then the starnut would be likely to bend and slip off the lip inside the bars...even with a really big bolt
its an awesome idea though keep workin on it!
its one of those ideas that needs to be thought and rethought forever until it'll work

Exactly.

The only way to not worry about your forks is to go threadless.
