pheonix smooth scs problem

ok its a good over all compression system but it doesnt keep my headset tight ot works fine for like three days then it my headset starts to get shake.. and dont say ''well tighten it hard ass hell'' because i do.... like would a proto scs be better or what

Chances are either your fork or handlebar is the wrong size. If the fork is too small, the SCS clamps tighter on the bars and less on the fork. Likewise, if the bars are too big, the SCS clamps more on the bars than fork. Sand the paint off the bottom two inches of your bars. Making the bars a little smaller around will allow the SCS clamp to tighten equally as much on the fork keeping your compression tight.

what i did, was i took i really small peice of string and wrapped it around the top cap bolt. has the same affect as lock tite, just the cheap version.

umm is your stripped and what color.. mines is purple and not stripped its perfect except for couple scrathes

ive got epic rewinds there standard 23or24 tall..22 wide and mgp forks

Epic Rewinds are made the incorrect size (too large). I bought my Rewinds about two months ago and had to sand the paint off in order for my SCS to stay tight. It's pretty bogus, but that's what you need to do.
