Phoenix Flex Fender Question?

are flex fender brakes really sharp for manuals like i had a go on my friends scooter and i couldnt manual it cos the brake if you tapped it down a tiny bit it would just be too sharp and then the front wheel would touch the ground are flex fenders like this

well my friends brake was a razor brake so if it different to that then its probably ok and its a pheonix switchblade if you know what there like
