Any one else have problems with these bars?

1. Extremely hard to get off once installed
2. iHic system seems to be problematic
2.a doesn't seem to stay tight
2b. see #1 for problem with getting access to topcap bolt
3. Only works with iHIC (Bars are 1 1/2" Outside Diameter 1-1/4" ID)

Manufacturing flaw/Quality control on this set:
Threads not cut all the way through the Clamp part so using the reverse bolt and nickel trick to spread the clamp not possible unless you run a tap through it.

Side without threads Red Arrows: hole too small- bolt starts to grab in that hole, which I believe causes the clamp to bind up. Fix- just drill out hole

mine work great once they are wore in for awhile. the threads fix them selves over time and stay tight. i love mine

The Clamp threads stay tight, no problem but the Top Cap bolt on his kept coming loose and to take the bars off was a PIA.

How long have you had your bars?

I installed a Proto SCS and some Blunt Bars so he could ride and the SCS is holding strong so I know it is not the Starnut in the Fork.

>expensive
>only work with iHIC compression
>ugly/heavy

10/10 would buy,

I've also had those bars and i had the same problem with taking the bars off the shim, so i've sanded the welds on the inside of the clamp and it worked almost perfect ;)
