There might have been another one of these but whatev.

Discuss any problems, tips, and other shit in here.

I got Photoshop cs2, and I'm still trying to get used to it, but anyway, Is there a way to make like a Preset sort of thing with borders? Like make it once then save it so you can load it again when you need it?

You could make the border and then go to edit, define brush preset. That way every time you wanted to use it all you would have to do is go to that brush.

as for making them in CS3, what kind of border do you want? Really its pretty simple, figure out what kind of border you want and then use either: brushes, shapes or anything else to make it. Then after you have it how you want it you might as well define it as a brush preset to so you can use it again. You do it the same way as with CS2.

Oh and whatever brush set you have open at the time is where your new brush will be stored.

To makew borders in Cs2+3 make a selection of where you want the border to enclose and then click select-Modify-Border and enter your desired border width. then click on edit fill and you can fill in the border selection with colours. thats the best way for simple borders in CS2/3
