Physics in highschool was a JOKE. We launched water balloons into teacher's classroom windows that were open. AWESOME.

mass times acceleration equals force. and a bunch off other stuff. i have a feeling this discussion is gonna go nowhere, with maybe ten people on this site who actually care about school.

lmfao i can't really see this happening. there arent too many people that would be interested in having a discussion on gravitational time dilation.

Well. What about physics? lol. I agree with parrish about school. In most subjects I can learn more on the internet (from reputable sources) in 2 hours than I can learn in a whole year of school.

My high school physics class was a Ben Stein EXACT replica lecturing the class everyday, while me and 2 friends played ceiling darts with pencils in the back.
We justified it too. We told him we were doing it to figure out the rotational force and how hard wed have to throw it blah blah blah. We didnt give two shits about any of that though.

Y'all need to take real school classes, the kind where you work every minute of the day or fail, and there is no curve on the tests because "it compromises the integrity of the school". I hate it but damn am I going to be prepared for life someday.

IB
AP
Honors

Hate them all, but you learn alot... Now are we actually going to discuss physics?

I'm an AP for math and I've done Honors 7th-9th grade but I hate it too much. I would've liked it if they taught more, but they didn't it was just extra work on the same stuff. Basically doing the same assignment twice instead of once. Plus in Highschool they combine core and honors into one class and that makes it even worse.

Well, I'm about three and a half grades ahead in math. I'm taking AP/honors history and english, double science (you have to take a test/get a teacher recommendation) and taking classes after school for music composition. And I'm the only sophomore taking philosophy. Lulz, I'm probably the nerdiest person on SR.

Yeah.

I'm doing IB Chemistry SL, Chem Lab asst, and helping tutor chem this year for the sophomores... I'm better at chem than anything at my school haha
