well i thought i would go ahead and try this and i am including pics cuz ive seen a couple of posts asking to see what this mod looks like so here you go... *plz note that i was not able to put in the 3/8 bolt were the locking system goes cuz i measured the hole for the stop bolt wrong so it ended up pushing my headset up a lil bit but its fine cuz it stays how i want it and doesnt really make any difference in performance*

i know , like i said in my first post, i could not put a bolt through there cuz i measured the hole for the stop bolt wrong so it pushed the headset up a lil bit so i cant get a bolt in there.

its good but you can weld the new a fold machs cause the streer colomn and the mech are both steel on the new a

I got myself banned.
Can you stick a normal B axle in the open hole? And also, the deck is still going to get mangled where the folding mech is so its kinda pointless to be bolting the mech. If anything the deck is just going to rip apart easier since your giving it a more direct pull now that the mech isnt shaking all over.

yea it might rip but i was able to do this mod for less then $5 and untill i get my paycheck thats better then $50 something for a pro. which i am gonna buy one day??

I got myself banned.
Well you dont have to spend 50 dollars on a pro if you can get your hands on a folding mech from one or one from a B deck. You take that one off, drill holes for the other one and put that on and the deck won't rip up.. atleast not as fast.
