pind fid forks

^^ Like he said, should pin it no matter what compression your using, SCS, ICS. The forks are CNC'd together (correct?), and the bond (glue), would break the legs off the fork tube. Best be safe to pin it.

I believe that they are two CNC'd pieces that are glued together, and the glue hasn't been doing so well lately. So no matter what, pin it. Even if you're "smooth".

even if you pin them i think they still go bad.
i had mine welded and then i got them heat treated and they haven't failed me at all.
but i don't think that an ics would work for it, i have a scs and it works really good.

Thinking about pinning mine after all the stuff I've been hearing. I got mine when they first came out. I have a bag of hardened steel roll pins. Might throw like 4 in there just in case.

Even if yours comes apart before you pin it you can just put it back together and pin it. That happened to Jon, his just about came completely apart so I hit it back together, pinned it, and now it's good.

It's flared at the bottom of the fork tube I believe so what does it do, just get real wobbly? Or does it snap clean off?
