my scs has never come loose, i have an integrated headset which probably helps but you still shouldnt be having this problem. make shure that when you tighten the compression bolt all the side bolts in the scs are completely loose so it can really compress everything without any resistence, tighten the compression bolt till you are sure all of the play is gone and then tighten up the side bolts on the scs really well. the locktite shouldnt matter because even if the compression bolt eases off the scs should hold it all together anyways.

^^ thats rarely ever the problem.
go HIC. its way better and stays tighter much longer.

its way better until you snap your bars, and no it doesnt stay tighter much longer. if your scs keeps coming loose its because you dont know how to set it up.

when you set up an scs hammer the scs onto the fork using a mallet. make sure its tight then tighten the compression bolt. if theres still play in it hammer it down a little more then tighten it more. the bolt is only there it hold it together not to actually compress it. not that complicated

ur starnut might not be in far enough

yeah or his steerertube could be a little bit too long so it is bottoming out his top cap when he is tightening the compression bolt. check both those things, there should be a bit of a clearance gap for each...
