are you saying scooters should just copy bmxers?
cause then we'd be hated even more
the only way we get respect is by doing big tricks
or what haha

sick video btw though haha

FALSE!

all i have to do is a turndown and bmxers will give me so much respect, your think bmxers care that you can quint whip ? They will be more amazed if you can do super stylish tricks that they do.

this is depending on what bmxers you live around.

thats how bmxers are around here, theyre more worried about how my legs are when i superman than how many tailwhips i did before that barspin.

but more on topic, i do a lot of that kind of riding when im not trying get footage or something. like around zak ploof i do like nothing but fakies, and i do a lot of nosebonks and try to do more original lines and weird things around street spots. but i still like just riding parks better =) as in, without big tricks

I'm hoping Alex was talking about bar/whip/fingerwhip combos. I really hope. And Tyler, you lose.

meh hes a really smooth rider. But i got tired of watching 180's, 360's, wallrides, manuals, and nosemanuals halfway through the video. That was literally 95% of the video. Don't get me wrong hes sick and smooth and steezy, but not much variety in his tricks, just variety in what he was doing them on.

So answer this:
How was watching that any different than most scooter vids? They are filled with the same tricks over and over and yet you dont get tired of watching them.

Chase Dehart has the gnarliest manny 180's, him and Steven Hamilton that is. I think people should just ride like Hamilton.

Super queer.
yea bmx style on scooters is kinda gay unless your kevin v. and footplants are SO fucking GAY unless your Emoo. inverts ar gay unless your certain people. and bikers CANT do qud whip late barspins so they are jelous.<3

Ride how you want. I prefer riding my SCOOTER like a SCOOTER. nothing wrong with either way.

I like riding street...but it breaks my scooter faster then flowing a park...
it's just so much more fun doing wallrides down a 6 set, rail to rail, nosepick almost everithing i find, 180 dow few stairs...

And bikers totally respect bmx tricks on scooters, I did a turndown to fakie on a hip and did a slider out and these bikers were all impressed because they couldn't even do sliders on their bikes. And I was doing some turndowns and some bikers were like "woah he just did a turndown on a scooter".

i was riding at the brooklyn banks a while back with some of the Animal guys, and i did a bri-flip flat. so Blackman turns to Big James and goes" Yooo nigga! we should try them shits on bikes!"

this thread just reminded me of that. i think both style and tricks are equally important in every sport. you could do like triples flat, but if it doesnt look nice, no ones gonna care. they'll just be like "oh, martin kimbel's are nicer" or whatever. it works the other way as well. you could have complete control over your scooter, and ride like steven hamilton times 12, and not be able to do alot of harder tricks, and you'll be looked down upon & under-rated because you dont have an extensive trick list, even tho you can flow any obstacle and ride smooth as hell. so both aspects are equally important. its kinda like yin and yang. with out one, the other doesnt function as well.
