but i think that they need to keep it to the advertisments on the side and tops of the webpages. i think they could get other advertisers other then scooter related ones just from the number of people on the sight,

Buff has to pay for the website name scooterresource.com and he also has to pay for all the data storage used that's why people are encouraged to use the search bar often so what's why there charging for the threads/banners.
