i like old a's, i never used to.
i rode one for like a day when my deck had snapped. and i was waiting for a new one. it was so gnar i kept it on.
but a few days later i took it to a park. 20 miniutes later. it snapped :(
there so sucky and weak
everything razor does is sucky and week nowadays.
exept pro mods wich are alright but i still go through them every 2 months. and thats restricting myself from riding street, other wise i go through them monthly.

No like seriously Razor should get there ass in gear.
Like Fuck ripsticks seriously just get rid of those and they'll have tons of money to invest in new scooters.
Ripsticks aren't going anywhere anyway like its a skateboard.

I disagree,I like ripstiks, but you have a point I personally think they should discontinue the razor Carvr,Cruiser, etc and bring the old a back into the stores

dude you're an idiot, like, 4 posts up from yours a kid said he sees these in stores in razor boxes

old a's are so solid dude, they lasted just as long as my pro did.

little secret JDBen: www.mitchellscollectibles.com

Old A's. brand new in box.

edit: for some reason the page isn't working, I even googled "Mitchell's Collectibles" and their page came up so I clicked it and it still didn't work. so yeah, maybe it's down right now.

i think your missing the point JDben, like someone already said , they won't bring back the old a
for example, in 2001 here was the situation
Old a = costing around $25 to make each - selling for $99. thats a fair profit, they can afford to do that.
here we are in 2008
new a selling for around $25-$29, and at this price its clear the old a could not be used anymore. where as the new a probably cost $10 to make each.

yh i think it is,ive saw that site before,i think you can still get old A's if you order from Team Razors Myspace if they still do that or not.

Rob,i wouldve thought that if razor were making so much profit, they wouldnt have to make a new A .I mean sure there cheaper to make, but theyll get less profit, here me out, start small:

$100 makes 4 Old A's,and 10 New A's
Old A's cost $100,New A's cost $25
all four Old A's sell,that $400,the profit is $300
all ten New A's sell, that $250,the profit is $150,only half of the profit of the Old A's

you could go even bigger:lets say $1000
40 old A's,100 new A's
the profit for old A's would be $3000,and only $1500 for New A's,so i thought that theyd be no excuse.

where are you getting this info?

they stopped making old a and bs cause the scooter boom had died down, and noone would bother to pay 100 bucks for a scooter. thus they decide to make a cheaper, crappier scooter, to sell for less.

Old A''s are overrated i rode one for a while then i took me a while to get used to my pro again which made me feel like utter shit for a couple of days.

But heres the main point.

Razor started out as a scooter company they should finish as one.
(Not the JD corp. Just Razor)

They could even improve on the Pro Model.

The Pro Model should be the minimum.

if people wouldnt bother the buy a scooter for $100,why didnt they just decrease the price to like $75,if they were that cheap to make,it wouldnt matter,it would just be less profits, but still better profit than the new A.

I recon what they couldve done is make a Old A Pro Model, basically an Old A,but with a matt finish, like the JD Bug Scooters (basically a grey paint finish, not a shiny one) the pro model full deck griptape on it,and reinforcements just on the deck.

a had a dream once that razor sold all these acceseries like "Folding Mech Lock","Deck Reinforcements",and Metal cores which had the razor logo on both sides they looked well cool, and maybe that wasnt a bad idea, they wouldve still appriciated the people that use their scooters for tricks, speaking of tricks, how did they think Team Razor were gunna do? i mean when i bought a new A (c'mon everyones done it) the RMV1 that came with it,showing not the scooter that i just bought, but the old A (which i thought was a B model back then).

so i still think that theres no exuse that razor didnt just decrease the price of the scooter, and didnt forget about the people who used them for tricks, unfortunatly, they did,and team razor were the only ones that had them (since the discontinuing).

Jdben your mistaken again, yes they would make more profit if they sold old a's for $100, but no one would pay that. considering you can get pros for 45.
the most they could sell them for is $30, just like the new a, hence why they make a crappier scooter, so they can achieve profit.
