just thinking because if its turn it might not brake properly but i perfer number 1 anyway, i like idea of a brake lever there.

Bleh thats just a design. Right now Im thinking about a way to use a standard bike brake handle with a cord as the first design looks crappy and stupid, but right now what I have thought of needs like crazy installation inside the bar tube which would include welding a bolt into it and whatnot. Ill have to think of something less complex and more realistic.

I think the 1st design would be more practical. The 2nd one would get in the way of the headset's rotation and hit the wheel and stuff. plus, if you landed on it, you're fucking dead. I've tried to make a brake system on a scooter with a bike brake cable and stuff. didn't work very well.

well i tryed also make brake but it failed.. what i did do is this: made a bicle brake. i made wheel run with bolt, now there is a tross from bars somehow and the tross will stop t he bolt and also the wheel will stop because of tross but it wasnt effective because it wasnt good. it did stop but not so good like back brake. pics soon if i got time and toukeratas.com will be up.p

#1 sounds like a good idea if you can find a way to rig a gyro up to it and lower the lever so it doesnt get in the way of barspins
