Hats is like something you wear everyday if you are into hats and usually people wear it cause of fashion and if you hat says like Quiksilver, everyone knows it and if it says SR , who the hell will know? Unless you are in some scooter land.

I might be wrong on somethings but I think people wear hats cause of fashion and stuff on the hat usually is something everyone knows.
