waaaaayyy too much to do. honestly, it's GOING to scratch & chip regardless of how well you prepare the metal. its a good tutorial, but its just not worth all the effort to do this for a scooter unless you're painting one that's not gonna be used for freestyle riding.

i just sand primer and paint then maybe clear coat. its not worth that much work just like greg said.
