[poll] intellectual discussion/debate forum?

i was thinking after reading that religion thread that some intellectual discussions and debate threads would make the scooter community a little smarter. you know, discussing religion, politics, finance, economy, science, whatever.

everthing but scooters > intellectual discussion

or

everything but scooters > discuss anything > (sub forum) intellectual discussion

idk about you but it seems like there are some smart people on here who would like the idea. and im always up for this kind of stuff and learning something new.

i voted hate, but i just think kids wont take it seriously. there would be more kids banned for being dumb than kids using it how it should be i'd imagine.

I like the idea. but as Matt said, most users on this Forum are little kids. Who would only spam in that section with useless posts. Only a select few would actually be able to hold serious discussions there.

good point. i knew there are only some on here that would take it seriously. i didnt even think that kids would be idiots about it but they probably would.

i wish the elite forums were still around =\

i like this idea. why not make it have super strict rules, or mods just delete the useless posts and warn when someone is spamming?

as much as i would love to have one, there are waaaay to many idiots on here for it work out well. it would prolly just be people talking shit and arguing topics they know nothing about. but hey, it could work. maybe we could try it as an experiment if its not so bad on bandwidth.

If you've noticed, half my posts are in the threads that aren't mindless crap, and actually tend to mean something.
I'm fairly opinionated on everything, and i like voicing that, no matter who listens, or who cares

Individual threads in discuss anything seem fine, it doesnt seem like there would be enough topics to actually need a new forum.
