[poll] mini dv vs. flash memory

just want have a couple peoples thoughts about them both pros and cons. a lot of people think flash is going to be the future of camcorder formats but also a lot of people still like mini dv a lot. So post away

Flash might be the future of consumer based camcorders... mini dv is preferred among professionals at the moment unless you can afford a camera that records directly to a harddrive (i mean like a RED camera) or P2 cards which are flash based but way more advanced than the junky soccer mom flash cams that are coming out. Mini DV compression is better than the current flash compressors

mini dv is better quality for now and flash is just convenient so choose better quality or convenience
