honestly josh i think the biggest problem with the problems is the dropouts. everyone snaps them. if you guys made them good so they wouldnt snap as fast pros would last soo much longer.
the entire deck needs to be reinforced or else it will snap in the front because that is were i snapped mine.my friend took sheet of aluminum and welded it on to the back end.if you want i can post a pic when i get back in town.Sorry for this not being useful to this thread.

Dont make one peice decks because everyone prefers different headtube angles therefore people would not buy the ''PRO Model''.If the deck does not fit there needs if you understand what im trying to say. Some people wont like the headtube angle and then never buying the new pro model again ya know?

With the bars you should make them at least 22 high and then people can cut them down. At least 20 wide so people can cut them down. Just like the french id bars as people were saying in previous posts.

all this shit seems like a good ideam im just nervous that its gonna end up like the XT. way too many faults, wayyyy to heavy, too expensive, and hella not worth it. but if razor end up making a good scooter that would last without modding it too much, then i'd be impressed and would have 10x the respect i have now for them

Everyone has failed so far with a one peice deck besides Andrew. Its just the truth.

Failed meaning the deck breaking, or being way too heavy.

uhh. I think 22 high is definately a good height, considering theres not to many riders that go too far beyond that. and I think 18 wide would be a good starting width, its still good for those people who like wider bars, and can be easily sized down for those who like different widths. If any riders preferances exceed these dimensions, its still not that big of a deal, there are plenty of companies introducing new bars, and replacing the bars wouldn't be that hard to do.

the only problem i see is that little kids whos parents buy them a scooter and ther riding around with a good scooter with out knowing wat a single part on it is.........thats why i like the whole customizing thing cuz they dont know about sz, proto, inward...Ect....

the new pro model will have 1 peice bars.metal cores.better headset.grip etc... i heard from someone
You would, haha.
It's no folding system, one piece bars and that's about it for now

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and remember josh, do this:

EDIT: two more things;

what will the box be like if the bars are 24x24? lmao

also

will you marry me?
Yeah, 24x24 is overkill. I am pretty sure we will most likely be looking into 21 and 24 high by 18 wide. I figure 18 is pretty much standard width for most riders. And I think the choice between 21 and 24 tall is for shorter and taller riders. Some people are beastly tall like Stan, Ricky, Ronald, Tyler W. So 24 is I think the tallest they should go.Plus the Pro Model packaging boxes are 25 inches wide, so they'd just have to modify the boxes to be taller to fit 18 wide bars.

I understand completely. I looked at it originally and thought to myself "this thing looks too tiny for it's own good" because the tube they put in the front end looks funky to me, a little too small. But I've ridden it a handful of times pretty hard and it's been holding up like a trooper. As for the rake on the headtube, it's basically the same as a Pro Model bolted. Maybe just a tiny bit more forward, but not enough to really notice.
Most important thing you have to think about. Is our in house designer is VERY experienced with frame building in BMX. He was the guy who build concepts for GT, real quality work that lasts a long time. So I trust his designs more than anyone else.

Like the quote above, I think we'll be okay. Although I do have a few appearance issues that I am voicing with Ali to forward to Razor. But it seems pretty legit from the times I've rode it. Plus, not heavy at all.

The thing is, most people won't spend that amount on a scooter because they see the cheapo scooters in stores for $10 and don't know the difference so they usually want to save themselves money. Besides, Pro Models aren't really sold at many stores, basically only at the few scooter stores and online. Most average stores (ie: target, k mart, walmart, etc) just think it's an overpriced scooter, not knowing why, so they don't order them, they stick to AW's.

when do you think these new pros will be out?
That's an answer I really haven't the slightest clue about, haha. We just did a photoshoot yesterday with one of them, but I don't know if it's the finished product or not.

you know anything about the price of these bad boys yet?
Not a clue. But considering there's less work during production (no folding mech construction) it should be cheaper. It's less metal involved also.
