But with reinforcements you can run decks with cracked dropouts that were previously unrideable.
ive seen it happen many times
alex's reinforcements are the most legit ones out there... along with dargers

Alex (not being a dick or anything)

but how exactly do you break decks from doing manuals and sliders?

as in what have you done big that has broken a deck in the past?

Grinds maybe? I don't go that big, but my last deck blew up when I jumped down a 5 set cause of constant grinding and stall tricks.

Believe it or not, I don't only do sliders. I actually jump stairsets and land flat on things (especially on quarters) so my scooters do break, just usually not super fast. Especially not with reinforcements. Even if I don't go through decks that fast, look at all the people who run and love my reinforcements (including Murphy), some of them kill decks.

i know putting on reinforcemnets strengthens the dropouts, but i also know it puts stress on the foldy. do reinforcments end up making the deck last longer or does the foldy just break insted of the dropouts??? would strip reinforcments work better?? also i weigh about 100 pounds, and you will all say that i don't need reinforcments but i really just want to be on the safe side so how long will a reinforced deck (strips) last me??

reinforcements will make your deck last longer.
i have done it to one of my decks that starting to crack the drop outs and im still riding it. works like a charm.

galvanised steel is really dumb reinforcement imo, its gonna make your deck so heavy and help rip off your foldy so fast
galvanised steel isnt heavy its just zinc coated steel in amounts that doesnt make a difference to the weight its just to stop it
from rusting when i cracked my dropouts i put on my reinforcments
and hasnt snapped and ive been running like that for a long time and because
people say all stuff like it makes your foldy snap off its only coz
the deck is stronger and the pressure needs somwhere to go so it goes through welds and your foldy
if you dont know somthing like the weight and shit just shut the fuck up :)

In my opinion (and you may agree).A folding mech should only be welded if it's literally standing on it's last leg, if the holes you put the bolts through stretch.Ity probably isn't very wise to weld foldies straight off...
