Probably a dumb question but still, will our clamps still fit on that?

yes they will. since its steel its a bit smaller but you can still get the clamp to fit but i also make shims with them that makes the clamp fit much tighter. OD on the clamp area is 1.25 and OD on the clamp area on a razor is 1-5/16. thats 1/16 of a difference. the clamp can clamp that much but it fits even better with the shim.

you can kinda see the edges of the shim on the pic of the slot at the bottom. i will try to borrow somones cam to get real pics

I just spent about an hour and a half calculating the costs for making these bars and have decided to order a larger quantity of tubing to lower the price per foot and i will be able to sell the bars for 25$ instead of 30$. I doubt it will get any lower so i hope thats a good enough price for those of you who wanted them cheeper. they will be out mid-jan. and i will custom cut the hight for every order. width is 15" if you want narrower cut it yourself.

Sounds good Cory, jes let everyone know when there for sale...and about the price drop i dont think it was all that much needed, cause they seem worth the 30, and i plan on including a lil extra cash for you guys jes because i respect what you guys are doing, so many people talk this and that about this and that, and they dont make any parts or anything, and your already doing this shit...so expect a lil Tip with my Money for my bars, and as soon as the other parts come out, ill try those out to.....good shit Cory...jes keep us posted.

Question of my hour is, did you compensate for the thickness of the paint? Cause if you used the same size tubing as a stock t-bar then paint added to it. I would assume the bar wouldn't fit too good and of course scratch. But they look good, I will definetly be down to get a set.

no the tubing is 1.25 OD and a shim is included that is on the bottom where the clamps go and its 1.125 OD with .028 wall. i cut it and bend it around the main tube so it fits snug and the clamps fit pretty tigh on it. if you dont want to use the shim you dont have to i just think its more dialed cause you dont have to tighten down the clamp as much

thats a sample of the transparent black. when light hits it it shines all cool
also the paint on carys bars is smudged on the clamp area cause he HAD to go ride them before the paint dried. he was riding about 15mins. after paint. just impatient.

What would be pretty nutty. Is if down the line these bars work out. Start doing signature bars where you can add slight bends a certain way just to add different feels on each bar. Not sure if you have a pipe bender or what not. But that would be cool to see.
