Pretty tuff question but I gotta say Guitar Hero...

Guitar hero is the best... rockband just jumped on the frnachise when guitar hero started it.
Also in world tour Guitar hero has all the other instruments rockband had, so they're pretty much even in content now.

i like guitar hero better. rockbadn has some good ass songs though, but (at least for me) its harder to tell if u actually hit the note and the background is to flashy and distracting.
i like the clicking on the GH controllers too, its like a metronome
