Well, i should say no commerical ads. Only scooter company ads. This site never had ads, and i don't want to see them done by another company.Jamey said:Brian Boston said:NO ADS!
Why not?
Basic banner ads help bring revenue without causing a (big) problem. I'm all for no pop-up ads though, and they're useless anyway because most people use some kind of popup-blocker nowadays.
There will be ads but I am going to be very selective about who I allow to advertise... I'm not going to whore out the site or the community so don't worry about that. If the ads are not relevant to what you guys are interested in then they will not be on the site and even then I might not allow ads just to keep things as clean as possible. Although the more revenue I get the more I will be able to do as far as expanding the sport, supporting competitions and paying for miscellaneous promotions and stuff like that so it really can't hurt.Brian Boston said:Well, i should say no commerical ads.
