well, even though the patriots lost the superbowl. the 2007 regular season patriots were the best team the nfl has ever seen.

if they were the best team the nfl has ever seen, they would've one the superbowl. perfect regular season means jack shit now that they lost the superbowl.

1. the 72 dolphins won the superbowl undefeated. they also only played 14 games that season where as the patriots went a total of 18 straight wins before losing.
2. i was talking about regular season. the regular season new england patriots were the best.
