[poll] to fix, or not to fix?

Im getting a old beat up road bike from a garage sale for 20$. and im stuck on the thought that i should make a fixed gear.
But the only thing i have qualms about if the fact that its really really hilly here and it would be a pain, and also that means id have to invest more money into making it a fixed gear.

So. the question is.
Fixed gear or leave it as a straight up road bike?

Depends on if the parts are shot. Like if all the gears are busted then you might as well convert it. Just leave a brake on it.
