I would honestly say its like 10/90 for me getting called gay for scootering.
And that 10% usually changes there mind once they've saw me ride.
Like wtf a local skateshop told me to drop my sponsor tape by and keep riding and they'd love to see my riding again in a couple years when im solid.

But right now i kinda like it how it is how we have a tight net EXTREMELY friendly community.

and I lol'd when you said you're like Jesus (no sacralige) at your park because it's the same way for me. I think a lot of you kids get mocked because you are just that: kids. I'm a freaking 19 year old man, people don't mock me at my park they get out of my way. local skaters will tell other skaters to "gtfo of the way" when they see that they're obstructing my line. at my park theres a thing we call "the cheese" because it's just a big cheese wedge flyout thing and all the bikers love to sit on it and do nothing and the other day I was trying 7's on it and all the bikers were in the way. I rode over there and calmly explained to them that I need a lot of space to do this trick and that they could sit anywhere else in the park. one of them decided to give me attitude and said "you could do your trick anywhere else too" and I flipped on him, yelled at all of them, and not one of them said a word. like 12 bikers vs 1 scooter rider. within 3 minutes they were all gone. you guys just gotta learn how to command respect, and you'll get it.
