I own the JD Bug anodized black, I went to tighten the bottom bar clamp and the bolt rounded off straight away! also the bars don't spin very well and they make a grinding noise. I have not modified it In anyway and only ridden it once. has anyone else had this problem?

stop being d!cks, you guys think ur the shit for bagging on new kids. it pisses everyone off. yeah just be careful when tightening your clamp, make sure your allen is perfectly snug then tighten slowly. Also, with your headset (reason why your bars dont spin well), most stock scooters are put together poorly, just take it apart and righten the headset bolts tight and maybe lube it. Your scooter will be fine after. And if you destroyed your clamp, get a new one online or just replace the bolt.

Just do what Erwin said, take apart and put back together your headset with Care and maybe put some lube on the bearings inside the headset for good luck, and if your clamp bolt is destroyed, go to your local hardware store and look for a grade eight bolt and bring your clamp with you to make sure it fits, and that's all I really have to give you as far as tips on maintaining your scooter, and as for all the AsShOlEs saying JDBug suck, don't beleive them, my freind has been riding a JDBug for over two months and does eight sets and still hasn't broken it, and bu he way, he doesn't run Reinforcements. So choose what Products sound good to you, and look good to you. Don't listen to what everyone has to say, choose what you wannuh ride, not what is popular. And that's all I truely have to say to you. Keep riding hard son.
