And I have a question, to consider yourself "Christian", do you have to believe that jesus is gods son?

technically, yes. but that doesn't mean you have to believe he was the son of god follow his teachings.

jesus say's in the bible it isn't what you believe, or what you say you believe, its how you lead your life. alot of people seem to miss that part. if your actions are good then what you say you believe really doesn't matter at all.

I believe jesus was a saint, not gods son , but i also believe what he said is how you should live your life.

Doesn't make any sense to me. Just because of the fact i believe God does not interact with life on earth, it just makes sense to me that hes a saint, kind of like mother teresa. Both did tons of good, and both had a positive message.

I don't really have any religious beliefs. I went to catholic school for 12 years, i think my religion classes were the biggest joke. I don't have a problem with catholic school, like if they want to have prayer and service involved with school, but forcing kids to learn something that is up to them to believe, than test them on it for a major subject is ridiculous. I guess its up to the parents, because my parents didn't want me to goto public school (having your grade school and highschool in buildings next to eachother a 10 minute walk from your house is a convenience...), but its still messed up.

i believe in evolution and everything, i dont believe in the adam and eve thing or whatever that is.

i believe jesus lived and all of that but i dont really think alot of the stuff in the bible happened or anything, i pretty much go with what danny said on all of thiss except i just believe in a little bit of evolution

i don't believe that we all spawned from just two people long ago either. Rather, i think adam and eve represent different groups of people from which we descended. at least thats what my pastor told our confirmation class. you have to look at a lot of the stuff in the bible as having symbolic meaning, and you have to find the lesson or moral in the story.

not this again.. i honestly have no idea, i mean we ask ourselves who made the world?? or anything for that matter? if god didnt make it what did?? it cant have just existed because it does? somethings man will never know which makes us ask the question that has been asked for the last bazillion years, does god exist? i m not sure, i still try to stick to the ten thingos just because it sounds like the right thing to do and if there really is a god, is he going to damn us all to eturnty when we die if we have done something naughty?? all the jeebus believers say he is like a loving father? does a loving father want you to burn in hell if you steal or murder?? ok murder maybe but yeh u get my pooint.

Yup, id have to say i actually agree with that. Just like all the urban myths out there like the boogie man and santa shit like that is just made to ensure kids will be good, the image of gods were made to try to convince us all to lead good clean lives in order to gain access to a high place after death.
