Preview got turned off

my preview got turned off and when i capture video on vegas it only gets the audio. Can anyone help?

about the preview, i think it could be in the view menu, not sure and i dont know about the video/audio thing

unless your computer is decnetly fast, i don't suggestyou use capture video on vegas....just choose high quality video on windows movie maker capture...er.

it does the same thing when im in movie maker

he was telling me about this... when he captures from vegas or movie maker it just captures a black screen but has the audio from the clips... i dont know what it is though
