Hey i got one of these like a week ago and i've noticed that there are absolutely no posts about them, only the phoenix ones which are not out. so i guess im gonna give a lil review on them and say my thoughts on them...

short and sweet - DONT GET IT

details - well, the idea is cool and there is some advantages of having them like how its really easy to line up your bars because of the slit of the clamp and stuff and you never really have problems with the HIC bolt coming loose (if you use locktite) and how the shim is integrated into the clamp and all but the negatives weight the positives out by a lot. well if you ever want to change something like the tightness of your HIC bolt/compression w.e it is really hard to take the bars off. the only way i have found that its even possible to take the bars off is if you get bones speed cream and just pour it all over the places the bars meet the clamp, and even with the excessive bones speed cream i still find it hard to take your bars off. Also it is really hard to put the clamp on for the first time and the only way i found that possible was to put speed cream on and also stretch out the clamp by wedging in a quarter and hammering the shit out of it...

so yeah if you never need to take off your bars and you use locktite, then i would maybe have to recommend this clamp but honestly, dont get it because for $40 you could get a much better clamp and you will save yourself a lot of time and money.

There just Pro comp HIC clamps. And I don't really see why this happened to you, but I have 2 friends that have them and they absolutely love them. It makes their compression way less work and keeps it dialed pretty nice. Do you have a slit on your bars?

same thing happen to me , the only way possible for me was to put my deck on a ladder or some thing to hold it up , and i beat the shit out of my bars , and i put wd-40 , and i got it off once and i can never get it off again , it got soo bad, that i had to trade some kid scooters, don't buy them there terrible .......and for the kid who posted this because it is welded together , if you stretch it the shim is going to stretch inside your bars , so do not stretch your bars it will make it a lot worse

yeah i have a slit on my bars. yeah i realized that last night that stretching it wont make it better. i think im gonna get a rubber mallet and try to beat the shit out of it, because my HIC bolt/compression was loose and i started turning it and turning it (the fork) and i didnt realize that it was litterally loosening the bolt for the HIC and then so my bars came off and now im kinda skrewed... but yeah i hope the rubber mallet works or maybe a hammer but wrap a towell arround it because i dont want to scratch it up before i trade it away for a different clamp...

i have had this since december and i have had absolutly NO probloms with it,you just have to stretch the clamp then take the pennies out and your bars slip right out and in perfectly,so if u do that its a really good clamp
